A Reality of Our Choosing ​

Details from site-specific work created as part of a residency in Germany, in conjunction with 2D works created for an exhibition in Rottenburg, Germany. For 2D work, see painting section.
Building off of the ideas of exploration from the project at Lacawac, these works take a new turn into the exploration of fantasy and reality within the forest. The forms are derived from historical visual references often seen in the region, patterns in folklore, and blending what is expected with unsettling oddities to question what is real.
